Janell grew up 10 miles north of Grand Marais, Minnesota, on the shore of Lake Superior, and is very happy to be back in MN after an 11 year hiatus. She loves the outdoors and enjoys kayaking, mountain biking, and hiking with her husband, Michael. 

Janell holds a bachelor’s degree in English from the University of MN at Morris, and a master’s degree in Higher Education Administration from Saint Louis University. She has over 11 years of marketing, strategic planning, and program coordination experience. Janell joined ORB in November of 2007 and is responsible for marketing activities and assisting ORB’s business development team.
